King signed a five-year, $16.5 million contract extension with a club a year ago, but released him saved the Raiders $2.9 million against the cap.
King has spent his entire six-year career with the Raiders, appearing in 80 games while averaging 46.8 yards per punt. He also pinned 156 of his 426 career punts inside the 20.
Walford was Oakland's third-round pick in the 2015 draft but only started 10 games in the past three years combined. He has 70 receptions for 768 yards and six touchdowns in his career, including just nine catches for 80 yards last season.
Cutting Walford frees up just $822,800 in cap space.
