If the Oakland Raiders fail to get in the win column in London against the Miami Dolphins, will head coach Dennis Allen return to the States with his job still in hand?

As Sam McPherson of CBS Sacramento puts it, "clearly, leading the Silver & Black is one of the most unforgiving jobs in the NFL today, but the team’s inability to find stability at the head coach position is one of the main reasons the Raiders continue to struggle. They’re off to an 0-3 start again this year, of course, and with an 8-27 record in his two-plus seasons on the job, it’s easy to question how long Dennis Allen will remain with the Oakland organization in his current capacity."

The Oakland Raiders looked closer than they have all season last week to turning the corner, but a 16-9 loss to the Patriots in New England is still a loss despite the assumed moral victory it provided.

Will that matter if the Raiders lay an egg at Wembley Stadium against a beatable Miami Dolphins squad facing problems of their own? Per Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, Allen's job security is "tenuous at best" heading into Week 4, with Raiders offensive line coach/assistant Tony Sparano likely to take over if Allen is removed.

So, in short, it would be of great interest to Allen (and, of course, the Raiders in general) to buckle down and get this win in London.
