The Oakland Raiders are looking to turn an entirely new leaf with new head coach Jack Del Rio in tow, and acquring a game-changing tight end like the Denver Broncos' Julius Thomas is one big step towards achieving that goal.
Per an interview on 95.7 The Game, Thomas said there is definitely a possibility he could land in Oakland in free agency:
.@Julius_Thomas says becoming a #Raiders TE next season is a possibility. He'll wait and see if they reach out. Grew up a Raiders fan.

One thing that could very well play into the Raiders' favor is the fact that Thomas and the Broncos appear head for split anyways over the almighty dollar.
The Broncos have some tough decisions to make with a lot of talented players hitting free agency. Among that group is tight end Julius Thomas, whom many around the league believe is going to get a big pay day. Sources say that Thomas won’t give the Broncos a home team discount, and it looks likely that he’ll be moving on from Denver.
With all that in mind, landing Thomas may very well just be a matter of letting the team's interest be know along with flashing him the cash necessary to bring the Stockton native back to the Golden State.
