In this Raiders news and rumors update, Oakland Raiders linebacker Sio Moore suffered an extremely frightening injury during Friday's preseason tilt with the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
However, per Darin Gantt of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "according to Scott Bair of CSNBayArea.com, Moore gave a thumbs-up as he left the field after a scary few moments."
As is to be expected, Moore left the game for good. As of this writing, there is no full update on his condition.
The injury occurred when Moore was hit in the back of the neck by Packers fullback John Kuhn. Moore lied on the turf for several minutes after that, bringing the capacity crowd in Green Bay to a full hush.
Trainers were finally able to move him enough to take his facemask off. He was then strapped to a backboard and stretchered off the field - receiving a warm applause after giving the thumbs-up.
Chat Sports will keep you posted on Moore's injury as additional information is made available.
