The Oakland Raiders have fired head coach Dennis Allen, and this time there's no doubt about it.
According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, Raiders owner Mark Davis and the rest of Oakland's management has decided that now is the time to part with the embattled head coach:

After the Raiders' 38-14 blowout Week 4 loss in London to the Miami Dolphins, Associated Press reporter Terry Collins cited a source who had confirmed that the Raiders were to release Allen on the following Tuesday.
However, Collins quickly pulled the tweet and issued a set of apologies that once again left Allen's job status up in the air.
Yet, after compiling an 8-28 record over two-plus seasons with the team (including this year's 0-4 record), the Allen era has ended in Oakland.
Per ESPN's Ed Werder, the Raiders have three potential options in mind to take over for Allen in the interim:
