ZERO: The Number of UK Football Players on the All-SEC Team

SDS

This afternoon the SEC released the All-SEC teams as voted on by the coaches. Every team had at least one representative…except Kentucky. Even Vandy linebacker Zach Cunningham made the list, but not one single UK player could make the cut.

One could make an argument that Josh Forrest deserved a spot. He played his way onto an NFL roster next year, but his production dwindled down the stretch, finishing 10th in tackles. Boom Williams was certainly one of the most explosive playmakers in the SEC, finishing second in the league in yards per rushing attempt, but Boom missed games and his production could not compare to the deepest position in the conference.
