College football season just began, but people are already talking about which coaches will be fired; in fact, you can place a bet on it.
According to these odds from BetOnline.ag, USC’s Clay Helton is the coach most likely to be fired first this season, followed by Rutgers’ Chris Ash and Illinois’ Lovie Smith. Auburn’s Gus Mazahn is the first SEC coach named, at 10/1 odds, followed by LSU’s Ed Orgeron at 14/1. Mark Stoops doesn’t pop up on the list until a cluster of coaches with 50/1 odds, including West Virginia’s Neal Brown, Ohio State’s Ryan Day, and Kansas’ Les Miles.
