Former Kentucky punter Landon Foster has a new goal for his life: foster the diversity and inclusion in the sports and business worlds he has not always felt himself.
Foster, who played for the University of Kentucky football team from 2012-2015, announced publicly in an essay written for OutSports.com on Wednesday that he is gay, hoping to voice support for other young people who might be battling the same trouble he had while living in the closet at UK.

“I am sure I will receive some backlash for writing this, but if there is one person it helps, then it will be worth it,” Foster wrote.
