We knew good news was coming, but this Yahtzee is extra special. Russ Yeast, son of UK legend Craig Yeast, just committed to Kentucky. The 2017 three-star athlete from Fremont, Ohio had offers from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Maryland, Washington State, and others, but decided he will follow in his father’s footsteps at Kentucky. He’s considered a four-star prospect by ESPN.
Russ is considered the 33rd best wide receiver in the 2017 class and the 11th best player from the state of Ohio, making him a huge, huge get for Mark Stoops and staff.
Here’s his tweet announcing his commitment:
Truly blessed to be able to say that I am Officially Committed to the University of Kentucky #BBN pic.
