Kentucky’s Ox will not leave the Commonwealth to play college football.
Octavious Oxendine revealed in a ceremony at North Hardin High School that he will take his talents to the University of Kentucky. A four-star prospect, Rivals ranks Ox as the No. 24 defensive tackle in America.
Recruited by Vince Marrow, Oxendine chose Kentucky over Louisville, Purdue, North Carolina and Tennessee. What will be an historic defensive line class in Lexington will all be at the demise of the Volunteers. Kentucky won head-to-head matchups for Ox, Justin Rogers, Tre’vonn Rybka and Samuel Anaele.
UK now has commitments from four of the top ten players in the state of Kentucky.
