A crazy day around the Kentucky football program is coming to a close with some good news. 3-star Florida linebacker DeMarco Artis announced on Twitter that he has verbally committed to Kentucky.
A member of the Class of 2017, Artis chose also had early scholarship offers from Florida Atlantic and North Carolina. The Seminole, Florida native was also starting to receive some attention from the Florida State Seminoles.
Outside linebacker is a position of need for UK after struggling to contain the edge in the 3-4 defense. His athleticism is evident in his highlight reel.
