According to JuCo Football Forer, Peters is leaving UK to attend Garden City Community College. Rivals reporter Justin Rowland confirmed the news.
Peters, who was a redshirt freshman this past season, saw action in just three games while recording one tackle in the blowout win over Vanderbilt. The 6-4, 240-pound outside linebacker rarely saw the field in his first year in Lexington, partly due to him just getting used to the Wildcats’ defensive scheme after not being cleared to play by the NCAA until Sept. 10th. He also had a tardiness problem that led to him not traveling with the team when they played at Georgia.
