If you know nothing about the Wofford men’s basketball team, you probably still at least know this: the Terriers can light it up from the three-point line.
Fletcher Magee stole the show against Seton Hall Thursday night, when he drained seven treys to earn the Division I record for career three-pointers (509 and counting). Wofford’s long-range game has been one of the major stories of the season and certainly of March Madness. In fact, two of Kentucky’s players immediately brought it up when asked about their first impression of the Terriers:
“I mean, I didn’t watch the game [against Seton Hall] but I know they can shoot the ball really well,” Jemarl Baker said Friday afternoon.
