Zion Harmon, a former Marshall County High School star who later signed with Western Kentucky University, will transfer to Bethune-Cookman.
Considered a four-star prospect and top 70 overall recruit from the class of 2021, per the On3 Consensus, Harmon began his freshman year at WKU for the 2021-22 season. However, he did not play a game for the Hilltoppers and it was announced in January that he was leaving the program due to personal reasons. Harmon would officially put his name in the transfer portal on August 11.
“Zion is truly a player that has all levels of basketball covered,” Bethune-Cookman head coach Reggie Theus said in the team’s press release.
