LEXINGTON – Late in Kentucky basketball’s season of misery, coach John Calipari took a moment on his weekly radio show to reach out to one of the most dedicated segments of the Wildcat fan base.
“How about out in East Kentucky right now, this flooding?” Calipari said in the wake of storms that ravaged the region. “What is going on? Let’s just say you’re in East Kentucky. They’re our best fans. I know other people will get mad at me, but they come in and they’re up top (at Rupp Arena). They’re driving how far to our games?
