Willie Cauley-Stein’s first contribution to The Players Tribune went live tonight with a look at just how hard he has been working since declaring for the draft. In three months of nothing but working out in California with Karl-Anthony Towns, Cauley-Stein has added 20 pounds of muscle and even more elevation to his vertical, all while learning what it’s like to be on his own, away from the conveniences of UK basketball.
Ryan Capretta, Willie’s personal trainer, said of Willie’s new vertical leap: “I’ve been doing this 15 years and I’ve never seen numbers like that.
