The Lexington Legends called up the seven-foot righty to throw the ceremonial first pitch in the home opener at Whitaker Bank Ball Park tonight.
Willie Cauley-Stein, who played football in high school, took the mound and delivered a 75-mph strike on the inside corner. He told Jerry Tipton the only thing on his mind was to get it to the plate.
