On Monday, Mark Stoops announced Patrick Towles would be the Kentucky Wildcats' starting QB this year.
Now entering his redshirt junior season, Towles is one of just three UK QBs to start every game and win at least five games in a single season since 2000 in a non-probation year. Only Andre Woodson and Mike Hartline have done that over that span, and Towles got UK to 5-1 last year before the Cats lost their final six games.
Still, Towles showed enough potential that he could easily find himself in the same class as those other three QBs at some point in his career.
