Anthony Davis is set to become the latest former Kentucky Wildcat to get a massive extension.
According to John Reid of the Times-Picayune, the New Orleans Pelicans are expected to make "an assertive push to sign star power forward Anthony Davis to a five-year extension that exceeds $143 million starting on July 1."
Davis, 22, averaged an impressive 24.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks this past season en route to being a runner-up for NBA MVP behind James Harden and Stephen Curry. Davis deserves every dollar about to be thrown his way.
