Kentucky has added an explosive athlete to its 2021 football recruiting class.
Wednesday afternoon Chauncey Magwood announced his commitment to the University of Kentucky. The three-star wide receiver from Leesburg, Ga. selected the Wildcats over Florida State, Louisville, Nebraska, Arkansas and South Carolina.

Magwood is the first player to commit to Kentucky during the coronavirus pandemic and the fourth member of the Wildcats’ 2021 class. Ranked by Rivals as the No. 65 wide receiver in America and No. 44 player from the state of Georgia, Magwood’s primary recruiter was Jon Sumrall, the UK linebackers coach that previously picked up a Peach State commitment from D’Eryk Jackson.
