LEXINGTON - Four weeks from Selection Sunday, Kentucky basketball is outside of the group of No. 1 seeds, according to the NCAA Tournament selection committee.
In the annual early bracket reveal -- a look at how the top four seeds in each region would play out if the tournament started today -- Kentucky was slotted as a No. 2 seed in the East region. The committee ranked the Wildcat sixth overall in the field.
Gonzaga, Auburn, Arizona and Kansas were the No. 1 seeds. Baylor was the top No. 2 seed.
Kentucky is ranked third nationally by both KenPom.
