LEXINGTON – Do not confuse a relatively-slow news cycle for Kentucky basketball recruiting this summer for inactivity.
With the coronavirus pandemic shutting down the summer shoe circuits, the Wildcats hold just one commitment in the 2021 class, four-star point guard Nolan Hickman, but more could be coming soon.
A year ago, head coach John Calipari had just picked up his fourth commitment in the 2020 class, but two of those commitments came Sept. 12 and 14. A handful of recent scholarship offers have positioned Kentucky for a similar run in the 2021 class.
