Finishing with a statline of five points (1-4 shooting), two rebounds, and two assists, you wouldn’t think Kentucky guard Immanuel Quickley played particularly well just by looking at the box score.
With point totals of five, eight, two, five, and three over his last five games, nothing necessarily stands out for the Wildcat freshman.
If you’ve been watching the games, however, you’d know that Quickley’s confidence has been rising tremendously over the last few weeks, and as a result, his on-court presence has been phenomenal.
Backing up Ashton Hagans at the point guard spot, Quickley has given Kentucky the perfect dose of steadiness off the bench.
