LEXINGTON – Good luck figuring out the SEC's men's basketball programs.
With most of the league's teams set to open conference play Saturday, the conference has somewhat of an identity crisis on its hands.
It's preseason favorite has beaten two teams ranked No. 1 in the country at one point this season but also lost to two teams outside KenPom.com's top 100. The league boasts one of two undefeated teams in the country, but that squad has beaten just one top-50 team. Another SEC team beat the defending national champion and lost to a sub-300 team in back-to-back games.
