It’s no secret that it’s been a long, exhausting basketball season in Lexington. A year which started with so much promise (anyone else remember November?!) has dragged to the finish line, with more twists and turns along the way than a season of Ozarks.
I mean, I really can’t remember anything like it. Every time you give up on this team, they turn a corner. Every time you think they’ve turned a corner, they fall on their face.
The latest “fall on their face” moment came Saturday against Florida and it, unfortunately was a stark reminder, that with two games left in the regular season, this team just isn’t consistent to know what to expect from them every night, or talented enough to overcome an off-night.
