One month after Kentucky basketball embarrassed Tennessee in Rupp Arena, the Volunteers returned the favor with a 76-63 win in the rematch in Knoxville.
The loss snapped a six-game Kentucky win streak.
Kentucky actually started the game on a high note, hitting 5 of its first 7 shots. UK led 17-15 with 13:45 left in the first half when offsetting technical fouls were called on Tennessee guard Zakai Zeigler and Kentucky strength and conditioning coach Rob Harris after the two teams had to be separated in front of Kentucky's bench. From there, Tennessee rattled off a 17-1 run to take control of the game.
