LEXINGTON - Kentucky football left spring practice with a clear need for transfer help in the defensive secondary.
The first attempt to address that concern has landed the Wildcats Ole Miss transfer Keidron Smith, who committed to the Wildcats Friday after considering Missouri, Virginia Tech and Miami.
"We are very excited to have Keidron join our Wildcat family," UK coach Mark Stoops said in a news release. "He is a veteran player who started and saw a lot of snaps at corner and safety in the Southeastern Conference. He’s versatile, he’s intelligent and he’s mature.
