LEXINGTON — Kentucky basketball's veteran leader is considering leaving the program without a single NCAA Tournament win.
Junior forward Keion Brooks announced Monday he will test the NBA draft waters, placing his name in the draft pool while leaving open a possible return to school.
Brooks has endured an unprecedented Kentucky career.
The 6-foot-7, 210-pound forward served as a role player as a freshman on a team that won the Southeastern Conference regular season title but saw its season end early with the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancelation of the NCAA Tournament. He missed the first six games of his sophomore season with a leg injury.
