What Jordan Jones’ Potential Citrus Bowl Absence Means for Kentucky

This morning KSR sources learned it’s unlikely that Jordan Jones will play in the Citrus Bowl. While we wait for UK to confirm the news, which will likely happen at this afternoon’s football media opportunity around 2:00, let’s assume Kentucky will have to play Penn State without the senior linebacker.

If confirmed, Jones will have played his last game at UK. The Youngstown native burst onto the scene in 2016 with 109 tackles as a sophomore, the third-most in the SEC. After earning second team All-SEC honors, a collarbone injury and discipline issues made for a roller coaster 2017 season.
