What Jordan Jones’ Citrus Bowl Absence Means for Kentucky

This morning KSR sources learned Jordan Jones will not play in the Citrus Bowl. Jones has played his last game at UK.

The Youngstown native burst onto the scene in 2016 with 109 tackles as a sophomore, the third-most in the SEC. After earning second team All-SEC honors, a collarbone injury and discipline issues made for a roller coaster 2017 season. Stoops stood behind Jones and it paid off in 2018. Jones avoided undisciplined penalties and despite a fractured hand, still finished fifth on the team in tackles with 68.

Kentucky’s defense will miss the vivacious personality and disruptive inside linebacker against Penn State.
