This time last week, Kentucky’s frontcourt options to close out the 2020-21 roster were limited, at best.
With Purdue graduate transfer Matt Haarms officially headed to BYU, five-star senior Greg Brown III signing with Texas, the one-time immediate transfer rule looking dead in the water, and reclassification options seemingly being either uninterested in moving up a year or flat-out unlikely to end up at Kentucky, the frontcourt situation for next season looked troublesome. At least temporarily.
And then to close out the week, a brand new option presented itself for the Kentucky program in the form of Wake Forest star transfer Olivier Sarr, who announced Friday morning he would be putting his name in the NCAA transfer portal and exploring his options.
