LEXINGTON — One of the leading contenders for Mr. Football in Kentucky next season has committed to stay home for college.
Frederick Douglass wide receiver Dekel Crowdus committed to UK on Sunday. The consensus four-star prospect picked the Wildcats over Louisville, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Baylor, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Ole Miss and Texas.
Crowdus last played in Kentucky as a sophomore in 2018, when he caught 37 passes for 831 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games.
