LEXINGTON - As the current Kentucky basketball team begins to round into form, John Calipari has one eye on the future as well.
West Virginia sophomore forward Oscar Tshiebwe is transferring to Kentucky, picking the Wildcats over Miami, NC State and Illinois on Sunday. The 6-foot-9, 260-pound forward averaged 8.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in 10 games for the Mountaineers this season before deciding to transfer.
Tshiebwe has said in interviews he planned to enroll at his new school for the spring semester. While he will not be able to play for Kentucky this season, Tshiebwe can practice with the team.
