The 2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, under the guidance of head coach John Calipari, were the epitome of what college basketball is supposed to be. They hung their hats on their defensive prowess, shared the ball in the most unselfish of manners, and bought into the team by playing for the name on the front of the jersey rather than the one on the back. However, despite doing all of this and finishing the season with a 38-1 record, these Kentucky Wildcats seemed to be a pillar of criticism rather than praise. And it is this reason that begs the question, were the 2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats under appreciated?
