Another year, another tweak.
Calipari mentioned the now-famous term following Kentucky’s 80-76 win on the road at Ole Miss last night, mentioning two tweaks were made on the offensive end.
The term of course gained notoriety in the 2013-2014 season, in which Kentucky struggled throughout the year, but an unspecified tweak was made going into the postseason, in which the Wildcats came within seconds of winning the SEC Tournament and made an improbable run to the NCAA Championship game.
One tweak seemed to be getting PJ Washington in the high post, as guessed by The Athletic’s Kyle Tucker, which yielded positive results for the sophomore forward, evidenced by PJ putting up 13 points in the second half.
