Wednesday Quickies: McDonald’s Game Edition

While Kentucky is fully in NCAA Tournament mode planning for its Sweet 16 matchup with Houston on Friday, two future Wildcats (and hopefully a couple more) are participating in the McDonald’s All-American Game festivities in Atlanta this week.

The game, which takes place tonight, will feature Kentucky signee Tyrese Maxey and Kahlil Whitney, who has committed to John Calipari and Kentucky. Additionally, Kentucky’s two top targets in the 2019 class, Matthew Hurt and Jaden McDaniels, will also be playing.

The actual game usually doesn’t reveal a whole lot since it is an exhibition, but the practices usually draw quite a bit of attention and reports have been positive out of practices about how Maxey and Whitney have looked.
