It’s a tradition that started in 2011, and continues on for the Kentucky Football program.
According to UK Athletics, three Kentucky football players are traveling to Ethiopia this week.
Landon Young. Calvin Taylor, and Jamar “Boogie” Watson are the three Wildcats headed to Africa for the annual trip.
Several Wildcats have been on this trip in the past including Austin MacGinnis, Bud Dupree, Marcus McWilson, Landon Foster, Courtney Love, George Asafo-Adjei and Bunchy Stallings, just to name a few.
In the past, players have delivered blankets to widows, played sports with children, and other various service projects.
