It’s the day after, but we’re still celebrating Kentucky’s Citrus Bowl victory over Penn State yesterday.
The victory capped off a historic season for Kentucky, as Benny Snell broke the school’s all-time rushing record, Josh Allen cemented himself as the best defensive player in the country, and the Wildcats picked up their first bowl win of the Mark Stoops era.
It was the perfect end to a season that few saw coming. In the preseason, the consensus was that Kentucky would win between 5-7 games, with a chance of an 8th win.
Kentucky defied those expectations and that seemed to become a mantra that this team fully embraced from the beginning of the season.
