UK Athletics announced on Tuesday that former Kentucky Wildcats football player Warren Bryant has passed away. He was 65.
Bryant played for the Wildcats from 1973-1976 and made history his senior season, helping his team to a nine-win season, as well as a share of the SEC Championship.
In addition to his team’s success, Bryant was quite decorated himself. The standout offensive tackle was selected to the All-SEC First Team three times and was a First Team All-American. Bryant had quite the career at Kentucky and, to no surprise, that transitioned to a selection in the NFL Draft.
