Kentucky guard Jemarl Baker came to Lexington last offseason as a four-star sharpshooter, with some comparing him to former NBA superstar Ray Allen. Unfortunately for the Big Blue Nation, Baker missed his entire freshman season with a knee injury, and we never got to see his elite shooting in action.
During the NCAA Tournament, Baker told reporters that he was “feeling good,” but would only put himself at about 80 percent.
“I’m feeling pretty good,” Baker said. “My knee is good and now I’m just at the point where we’re trying to get the strength back to 100 percent — as strong as the right leg.
