The Kentucky defense is preparing to go toe-to-toe with Florida’s high octane rushing attack in Gainesville. The Wildcats limited Miami to 111 rushing yards in week one, but it was not up to Kentucky’s standards.
“It was good. We still got some stuff to fix,” said linebacker Jacquez Jones. “We’re not perfect. I feel like it was good but we can always be better.”
Defensive coordinator Brad White had two plays in particular that hurt Kentucky in the season-opener. Those mistakes are correctable, the byproduct of first game rust.
“It’s about consistency,” said White.
