Another game. Another loss.
At this point, the in-game collapses aren’t even surprising. In fact, they are becoming expected. When Kentucky built an eight-point halftime lead I don’t think anyone felt all that comfortable. When B.J. Boston threw down a fast-break dunk to put the ‘Cats up 58-48 with 11:57 to play in the game, Rupp Arena was rocking (relative to corona-times) and there was a glimmer of hope. Still, the narrative was “how many points does Kentucky need to be leading by with 4:00 to go for us to feel good?”
Unfortunately, the Wildcats didn’t even make it to the final four minutes.
