As Freddie Maggard wrote earlier today, we are still getting to know Rich Scangarello, the new offensive coordinator on Kentucky’s campus. For Freddie, this morning’s post-practice press conference was his first time being around Scangarello. What he saw was, “a detailed, highly intelligent, and analytical coach that appears to eat, sleep, and do football stuff twenty-four hours a day.”
Before today, Scangarello held three other Tuesday Q&As to discuss practice, plus his initial introductory press conference on March 1. Outside of those conversations, he isn’t on social media and maintains a pretty low profile online.
So let’s overanalyze the clip Kentucky Football shared last night of its new coordinator mic’d up in practice.
