Reed Sheppard’s string of strong play to open his junior season continued Wednesday afternoon, leading North Laurel to an 81-78 victory over Lexington Catholic.
In a back-and-forth matchup to close out the White, Greer, and Maggard Holiday Classic, Sheppard finished with 26 points on 8-12 shooting, 4-7 from three and 6-6 from the line. He also added eight assists, four rebounds, four steals and three steals in the win.
How did the all-around performance come together? How did the Kentucky basketball commit put the team on his back down the stretch to come out on top?
