Kentucky men’s basketball took its annual preseason scrimmage to Pikeville this year in order to raise money for flood relief in eastern KY.
The event was a rousing success, concluding with a $162,450 check being presented by Governor Andy Beshear and the entire Kentucky team. Appalachian Wireless Arena filled up all 7,000 seats for the event that began with a pregame Fan Fest outside and continued inside with some surprisingly intense hoops. Antonio Reeves and Adou Thiero were the two stars of the night, despite coming out on the losing end of the 70-67 win for the White Team over the Blue Team.
