Oscar Tshiebwe is ready for one more year of basketball at the University of Kentucky. Two days after announcing his return to Lexington, the Big O met with members of the media to share why he decided to pass on the NBA Draft.
“I worked with Coach (Cal) for like eight months and they changed my game. If we can focus on this thing through, I think my game can. goto a different level,” Tshiebwe said.
Kentucky’s first ever unanimous National Player of the Year, he’s only the third Wooden Award winner to play another year of college basketball.
