It was a somber mood during the Kentucky men’s basketball postgame press conference on Wednesday night.
Following the Wildcats’ 89-75 loss to the Missouri Tigers, a pair of players were made available to the media for questions. Kentucky’s two bright spots from the game, freshman Cason Wallace and senior Oscar Tshiebwe, spoke with reporters for a couple of minutes to break down what went wrong.
Wallace finished with 19 points on 7-16 shooting, including a 5-13 mark from beyond the arc in 32 minutes of action. Meanwhile, Tshiebwe posted an incredible line of 23 points and 19 rebounds, playing all 40 minutes for the Wildcats.
