Kentucky basketball got a surprise commitment Saturday when Nolan Hickman announced his pledge to the Wildcats.
Hickman, who plays at Wasatch Academy in Utah, is a four-star recruit who also held offers from the Kansas Jayhawks, Arizona Wildcats, UCLA Bruins and Washington Huskies among others. He’s ranked 30th overall in 2021 at 247 Sports while being the third-best point guard.
The buzz for Hickman trending toward Kentucky just began to come out Friday night, and he committed the following day to become the Wildcats’ first pledge in the Class of 2021.
