Kentucky’s point guard situation is still a question mark, but incoming Wildcat Nolan Hickman might have something to say about that.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound point guard class of 2021 prospect out of Wasatch Academy (Utah) is a star on the rise. Hickman was named a McDonald’s All-American selection and is graded by 247 Sports as the No. 32 player in the country and the No. 4 ranked point guard. Following the transfer of Devin Askew to Texas, Hickman is the lone pure point guard currently on the 2021-22 roster.
The expectation is that John Calipari and the coaching staff will find a way to add another lead guard, whether it’s someone such as Marcus Carr through the transfer portal or another top high school talent such as TyTy Washington, who is friends with Hickman and has played against him since the two were in grade school.
