Before the coronavirus halted all football activities on the University of Kentucky’s campus, the fine folks at KyWildcatsTV threw a microphone on Anwar Stewart.
The former Wildcat made his triumphant return to Lexington this spring. As you can see in the footage, even though he’s technically new, he’s quite familiar with his defensive linemen. After all, he did serve as the position group’s graduate assistant in 2017 and 2018.
One thing that immediately jumped out: Stewart was coaching up his young players while they were stretching. He stayed in Octavious Oxendine’s ear, providing positive reinforcement before the early enrollee was thrown into the fire.
